Celebrate Summer with Holmes Camp & Retreat Center at our annual Friends Day!
Everyone is welcome! Celebrate the ministry and history of Holmes Camp & Retreat Center at our annual Friend’s Day! Join us for food, activities, and a summer-camp style worship service at Westminster Lake.

JOIN US FOR THE DAY!
Friends day meals and activities will take place at Westminster Lodge, located at 80 Denton Lake Road in Holmes, NY. Saturday arrival begins at 11:30am with the invocation followed by lunch at about Noon. We ask that in order to allow our staff and volunteers time to prepare, you do not arrive at check-in before 11:30. Worship begins at about 5 pm and will be led by Donna LeRoy, camp alumni. Dinner will begin at about 5:30 pm.  

Saturday admission is FREE and includes all the days activities, but we do ask that you register to help us plan and staff the event. If you’d like to join us for meals, meal tickets can be purchased separately for $15 for lunch or dinner/$11.25 for youth meals (4-12 yrs.)

  • One room single or double occupancy room for Friday and Saturday night

    • Friday night dinner at Paul’s Pitstop: Pizza and wings
    • Saturday breakfast at Vinik Hilltop: Continental 
    • Saturday lunch at Westminster Lodge: Friends Day
    • Saturday dinner at Westminster Lodge: Friends Day
    • Sunday breakfast in Verdesi Hall: Pancake breakfast
  • All Friends Day activities 
  • Check-in begins at 4 PM on Friday. Please note: Summer is a busy time at here at Holmes, and we are unable to offer early check-in, late check-out, or additional nights not available for selection here. Thank you for your understanding.

Weekend Rate: $300
(This year Heidi’s Inn Reservations are booked through Holmes’ registration site. Guest choosing this option will go directly to Heidi’s Inn for check in.) Your reservation includes: 

  • Lodging offsite at Heidi’s Inn (Brewster) for Friday and Saturday night
    • Includes Continental Breakfast at Heidi’s 
  • One meal ticket for each of the following: (additional guest meal tickets can be purchased separately)
    • Saturday lunch at Westminster Lodge: Friends Day
    • Saturday dinner at Westminster Lodge: Friends Day
  • Shuttle to and from Holmes Camp & Retreat Center on Saturday
    • Shuttle will pick up at Heidi’s at 11:15 AM and Noon.
    • Shuttle will make return trips to Heidi’s at 6:00 PM and 6:45 PM.
    • You will receive an email about one week before the event to RSVP if you plan to ride the shuttle. 
  • All Friends Day activities 
  • Check-in begins at 4 PM on Friday. Please note: Check in directly with Heidi’s Inn under group reservation name “Holmes Camp”

Weekend Rate: $100
Camping is available at the Robinson Pavilion. The Pavilion has electric and bathrooms with showers. Bring your tent and have a good old fashion camp out! Your reservation includes: 

  • One tent site at Robinson Pavilion
  • One meal ticket for each of the following: (additional guest meal tickets can be purchased separately)
    • Friday night dinner at Paul’s Pitstop: Pizza and wings
    • Saturday breakfast at Vinik Hilltop: Continental 
    • Saturday lunch at Westminster Lodge: Friends Day main event
    • Saturday dinner at Westminster Lodge: Friends Day main event
    • Sunday breakfast in Verdesi Hall at the Agape Center: Pancake breakfast
  • All Friends Day activities

GROUP RESERVATION
For groups larger than 10 we ask that you give us a call to register at 845.878.6383 ext 1. We will work with one contact from your church/club/organization. Your individual participants will not need to register online. The Group contact person will collect all the required information and get it to us two weeks prior to Friends Day. For large groups, car pooling or bus transportation is strongly suggested.
